June 25th. Dodge City to Great Bend,KS. Elevation 1,843 ft. 85.3 miles. On the way to Great Bend, still following the Arkansas River we came to the city of Kinsley,KS. (halfway point between San Francisco and New York City). The SAG stop was at the park where the famous Sod House is located. The store where Sod House is preserved is worth the stop.
